After pop star Rihanna’s tweet in support of the farmers’ protests last night, the movement has come into the limelight of the world. The farmers have been in Delhi for more than three months now and have had several rounds of discussions with the government but their demands have still not been met.
Rihanna took to Twitter and shared an article in which it was revealed that the Indian government has cut off the internet in surrounding areas of Delhi where the farmers are currently protesting. Following her tweet, the farmers’ protests became a hot topic around the world and got many international celebrities talking about the same. Now, Diljit Dosanjh, who has been actively supporting the farmers during these times, has decided to create a song dedicated to Rihanna for acknowledging the struggles of these farmers. The singer took to social media and shared a little teaser with a caption that read, “#RIRI @thisizintense @rajranjodhofficial #rihanna #diljitdosanjh LINK IN BIO Barbados Diye Sohniye Kudiye … Rang Jion Kankaan Di Jaee Ein..
