Hrithik Roshan is one of the most dapper actors in Bollywood, and there’s no denying that. With his blockbuster debut film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai back in 2000, not only did he impress the critics, but he also left us awestruck with his killer dance moves. Over the years, Hrithik has made his mark in the Indian film industry and has managed to impress us with his acting chops as well as his dancing skills. His noteworthy performances have always left us wanting for more over the years. He makes it all look effortless and his fans can’t stop admiring him. His spectacular dance numbers are one of the biggest highlights of his films. On his birthday, we list 10 songs of the actor that have given Bollywood dance steps to cherish forever.
Ek Pal Ka Jeena – Kaho na… Pyaar Hai (2000)

Not many get to have the kind of dream debut that Hrithik had with Kaho Na… Pyaar hai. Even though it was directed by his father Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik proved his mettle as he aced the double role in his debut film. Ek Pal Ka Jeena and its signature step are still one of his biggest dancing hits.

Bumro Bumro – Mission Kashmir (2000)


Not only did this film have Bumro Bumro, which is one of his all-time hit dancing numbers, but this film also showed his versatility as an actor. This was an action flick, compared to his first film which was of the romance genre. He played the role of a son wronged by his stepfather, returns to take revenge for the death of his murdered parents.

You are my Soniya – Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001)


Hrithik Roshan as Rohan Raichand had us smitten with his suave personality in this family entertainer. He played the role of a doting younger brother to Shah Rukh Khan, but what got us hooked were his killer dance moves to one of the iconic party songs of all time.

It’s Magic – Koi Mil Gaya (2003)


Probably one of the most challenging and special film series he has ever been a part of. It made him the first successful superhero of the Indian Film Industry. Just like his previous films, It’s Magic is one of his greatest dancing hits that showcased the dancing god that Hrithik is, with his insane dance moves.

Main Aisa Kyun Hoon – Lakshya (2004)


Hrithik’s acting chops were greatly admired by critics and audiences alike. A common guy uninterested in everything that life has to offer, but joining the army alters his perception about life altogether. This movie saw a rather out of the box dance number that he nailed with his effortless moves. 

Dhoom Again – Dhoom 2 (2006)


Never have we ever loved a thief any more than we did in this film! Hrithik at his charming best in one of the biggest franchises of all time. The film was a super hit and the title track went onto become superhit with Hrithik Roshan paired opposite Aishwarya Rai. This was a through and through high-energy dance number and the moves were to die for.

Bawre – Luck By Chance (2009)

Though a special appearance for a dance number, Hrithik Roshan as Zafar Khan was one of the highlights of this Zoya Akhtar film. The movie had created quite a buzz because of the innumerable megastars who did a cameo in the film. Hrithik’s dance number – Bawre- was thoroughly enjoyed by the viewers.

Senorita – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)


Hrithik played the role of a successful investment banker with ease in this travel-inspired movie. The journey of three friends on a road trip was well received by the audience as the camaraderie between the lead characters was effortless. One of the scenes in this dance sequence had Hrithik doing street salsa with a performer and it pretty much proved why he is hailed as the dancing god.


Tu Meri – Bang Bang (2014)


Bang Bang was the Hindi remake of the Hollywood flick- Knight and Day. It was a hit action thriller where Hrithik impressed us with his action sequences. As always his dance number was one of the highlights of the film. Tu meri was a sensational hit and with Bosco Caeser’s choreography, it turned out to be one of the greatest dance numbers of Hrithik’s career.


Ghungroo – War (2019)


War was a through and through action film that broke all records at the box office. With Tiger Shroff as the other lead in the film, it is no surprise that the film had two dance numbers and both of them were superhits. Hrithik plays the role of a spy in the film. The hook step of Ghungroo soon got trending and people couldn’t stop admiring the ease with which Hrithik swayed to the beats.
